Pathways 2 Resilience Program

Are you residing in Alameda county, been released from being incarcerated in the last three years, want to do something positive and looking for the your next step? Then this program is for you — a permaculture and social entrepreneurship training program for men and women re-entering our communities after incarceration!

Partners from non-profit, educational, and private sectors have come together to provide a holistic reentry pathway that supports reentering individuals from incarceration, offering training and interpersonal and work related skills, leading to successful reintegration into their community.

Participants in the Pathways 2 Resilience Program can expect the following from our 6 month program:

  • Case management and support with career planning and job search
  • 1000 dollar stipend for completion of program
  • Program takes place over 4-5 months in three to four Oakland locations (Merritt College, United Roots, Impact Hub Oakland)
  • Two evening sessions during the week and six all day saturdays (to ensure time for other employment)
  • 50 percent of our sessions will be held outdoors (weather permitting)

  • Meet staff and program graduates
  • Participate in simple group activities that introduce the program

Listening Sessions are scheduled at the following dates and time:

  • Fridays in September
  • September 5, 12, 19, or 26 (choose only one)
